I visited Indian Motorcycle of Albuquerque 5/12/2022 during our Route 66 adventure from Chicago to LA. Tires of my Indian Roadmaster rental bike were outworn, dead as Denis said. I was met with such a warm welcoming, my problem was taken seriously and taken care of. Though my late arrival I left with new tires, one call back fixed and washed and clean Roadmaster! The personal cooked me fresh coffee for my European taste (I'm from Finland). I've never seen service like this, nowhere, and I travel a lot! Back home we both drew (me and my wife) BMW's until this summer. The customer care of Indian Albuquerque, in addition to Indian bikes itself (she: Chieftain, me Roadmaster) convinced us. Now we both drive Indians (Challenger and Chieftain baggers). Thank you Denis and team, 12 points out of 10 to you!

I visited the dealership on 5/26/20 in the hopes that I could get an overdue oil change on my way back from Texas. I submitted an on line request for service the day before but evidently the service department rarely gets these. JR was very helpful and scheduled my critical service for the AM even though he had a full docket so I could be on my way. Thanks JR, I'll visit again.

The best Indian shop anywhere.

My husband and I can not say enough good things about our visits to and eventual purchase with Indian Motorcycle of Albuquerque. Randy was a knowledgeable and helpful sales associate. Not once did he look down on me for my inexperience or the many silly questions that come along with being a new rider. He was patient and encouraging every step of the way. He was never pushy and always made sure we felt welcome and at home. This level of superb service and kindness continued even after the purchase - when most salesman would have already forgotten your name. The Albuquerque dealership is quite nice to walk around and explore. Although they keep a large stock of bikes, apparel, parts, and accessories, the store feels open, spacious, clean, and well appointed. Every associate we encountered along the way shared Randy's willingness to help us get what we needed with the best fit and price for us personally in mind. Denise worked hard to secure financing and breaks with the lender. Cheri and her associates worked hard to fit us with the best gear. David's team worked hard to get all of our custom modifications added to our bike while we were filling out paperwork to ensure we would ride off the lot with the bike of our dreams that very night. We love our bike and we love the Indian family at this Albuquerque store - where customer service is second to none. Other dealers could learn a lot from the way this store does business.

I've been riding for over 20 years, so I've dealt with a few dealerships. I have never seen a dealership go above and beyond the way Indian Motorcycle of Albuquerque does. My wife decided to surprise me with a motorcycle that would be good for both of us to ride (my sportbike's passenger perch wasn't much to her liking). Indian of Albuquerque worked with her for a year to not only select the right model (thank you demo day!) and facilitate the custom paint and other custom touches her build required, they also worked with the factory to have the first 2018 bike built months ahead of schedule! Then they "opened" on Christmas eve to surprise me with the finished bike! The staff and even the fellow riders you meet at this dealership are top-notch, one and all. I can't say enough good - no, wonderful - things about Indian of Albuquerque!

I just bought my new Springfield last week. After a week of riding, I know I made the right decision. This bike is a blast. It looks great and rides even better. The more I ride it, the more I like it.
Very Happy with this bike.-Anonymous -
I decided to trade in my current HD for something new. I've owned a Honda, Suzuki and 3 Harleys over the last 16+ years. I was originally going to go for another HD but wasn't very pleased with the changes I've seen at HD after ownership changed years back. Always wanted an Indian and didn't even realize there was an Indian dealership in town. Stopped by to take a look and met some very nice employees there. The dealership had a very "comfortable" feel to it. Nothing at all like some of the larger dealerships that almost have a corporate / high volume used car vibe to them. A week or so after first discovering the dealership, I had a new 2017 scout. Got a decent trade in for my previous bike and great (really great) financing on the scout. The financing and paperwork, even with the trade-in, took FAR less time than any other new purchase we have ever made (and we have purchased 5 new bikes and 13 new automobiles over the last 27 years). Been in to the dealership several times since then for additional purchases and just to bring the wife and daughter by. Everyone there involved with the purchase and follow up have been pleasant, inviting and sincere. The sales and paperwork experience with Blane, Randy, Andrew and Denise - The parts and service with Craig and the technicians - The merchandise sales with Cheri and Autumn - all of them top notch! Everyone at Indian Motorcycle of Albuquerque made the experience what it should be. Other dealerships should learn from you folks. I will be recommending you to everyone I know who is interested in a bike. Thank you again!

My expierence at Indian Motorcyle of Albuquerque was excellent. Andrew Tafoya went out of his way to ensure we were 100 percent satisfied. I appreciated that the owner of the dealership greeted us and thanks us for our purchase. The staff was also very pleasant. I look forward to continued business with this dealership.

I rode my 2001 Goldwing Trike from Silver Spring, MD to Santa Fe, NM, to participate in the 76th Motor Maids National Convention during the 4th of July holiday. I had mechanical problem with my bike by the time I arrived in Santa Fe, and I called the Motor Trike Manufacturer in Texas and they referred me to the Indian Motorcycle Dealership in Albuquerque. I was able to get my bike there, and I can't say enough of how caring and efficient the service team was. I am so grateful to find such a wonderful, knowledgeable and caring people to help me, and to get me back on the road again in such a short time. Their customer service is outstanding and they went out of their way to order the parts for overnight delivery, and they had the bike ready for the road when I needed. Thank you so much. A special THANK YOU to JJ, the Service Manager, for such a great experience at your shop. I really appreciated. Eunice

Recently purchased an Indian Dark Horse and absolutely love it! In the first 2.5 weeks have already put on 1500 miles. I like to ride! Randy in sales was great to work with and JJ in service for adding accessories and 500 mile oil change was very helpful. Looking forward to spending the Indian Rewards money that's been accumulated! I would definitely recommend Indian motorcycles and this dealership. All the staff I've dealt with have been very friendly and helpful.

I bought a 2015 Scout in July. I really like the looks and how it rides. This bike turns heads.
Now my problem. The fuel mileage sucks. I am getting 26 to 28mpg in town. I might as well but a little car. It seems like the service dept doesn't think anything is wrong. I am now looking at trading for a Honda Stateline. I will miss the Scout and the friendly people at Indian. Just real un happy with the mileage.-Anonymous -
FROM BEFORE THE DEALERSHIP WAS EVEN OPEN, EVERYONE WHO HAS DEALT WITH MY WIFE AND I HAVE BEEN KIND, INFORMATIVE, PLEASANT, POSITIVE AND HELPFUL. WE HAVE HAD A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE PURCHASING OUR INDIAN CHIEF VINTAGE, CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES. EVERY TIME WE WALK THROUGH THE DOORS, WE HAVE BEEN TREATED ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. THE DEALERSHIP IS IMMACULATELY CLEAN AND WELL KEPT, INCLUDING THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THE STAFF IS TOP NOTCH AND AT THEIR BEST 24/7. WE HAVE ENJOYED MANY OF THE ACTIVITIES THE DEALERSHIP HAS TO OFFER. WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE AT THE DEALERSHIP WHEN OUR CHIEF CAME IN. FROM THE MINUTE THAT IT WAS UN-CRATED TO THE MOMENT WE RODE IT OFF THE LOT, EVERYONE MADE US FEEL SO VERY SPECIAL AND HAVE CONTINUED DO DO SO EVER SINCE! WE LOVE OUR INDIAN! GOD BLESS AMERICA AND AMERICAN-MADE MOTORCYCLES! WE WILL DEFINITELY CONTINUE TO DO BUSINESS WITH LOUIS AND MIKE'S SPLENDID DEALERSHIP, INDIAN MOTORCYCLE OF ALBUQUERQUE!

I have been to the dealership to check it out, and see what's going on. The first time I stopped in, I was not greeted, or acknowledged. I simple Hi how are you doing today? Please let me know if I can help you with anything, would be great. That said, no one likes a push sales person. The dealership felt quite stale. I don't remember there being any music, or anything to assist with the environment. The second time I went in, I was looking for the old metal style oil cans that are on display. I collect these, as does a friend. When I asked about them, I was advised they are for display only. HD currently sales these, as a collectors item. Indian has some very cool bikes and attire. Though not currently in the market for a bike, I have always liked the Indian as a motorcycle and the history that goes along with it. That said, Indian needs to develop some stability and expand their network before it becomes the bike of choice for many. The salesman at the store during round two was much more friendly, and outgoing, even though I was in an HD jacket. Remember, current riders are likely who your market is, or will be for future purchases. Not many first time riders can afford an Indian. I went by the Indian Expo at Sturgis this year, as I have in prior years, and the bikes look great. The culture was well established, and you made a rider feel at home. The ABQ dealership needs to establish this relationship with the riding community. All the best!

Of all the decisions that I have ever made in my life, purchasing an Indian Dark Horse has been by far the absolute best decision I have ever made. This bike has blown me away every time that I get on it. I look forward to each and every ride. I have to say that the Albuquerque Dealership is the best that I have ever worked with. Randy in Sales was there with me every step and his main concern was my absolute happiness and satisfaction with the entire experience. Leanne helped me to find the best rates to fit my budget and was sure to explain everything thoroughly. Erica in Apparel and Merchandise always remembers my name and makes me feel welcome every time that I come in. Tom and Gumby in service are top notch and I feel comfortable and more importantly safe when they do anything to my bike.I am proud to say that I own America's finest motorcycle and that I purchased it from America's finest dealership. Thank you Indian Motorcycle of Albuquerque for everything, you all are the best!!!!!!

I have been truly impressed by this new dealership. From my initial contact with Randy in sales, who went way out of his way to facilitate my requests, to Thomas, Gumby, Adam in the service department, who have been great to work with and Leanne and Erica who round out this great team. Overall, I give them an A+ on customer service and I couldn't have made a better choice of motorcycles. My 2015 Chieftain is a great ride.

Wish there more model available to look at, perhaps test ride.

Indian of Albuquerque is clearly being operated by people that are paying attention to their customers. The initial motorcycle purchase and after-the-sale experience has been nothing but positive. Doing business with you guys is refreshing as it reminds me of doing business with Chick Hancock - a business owned by a motorcycle enthusiast and staffed by competent people who like motorcycles - a winning combination - and something your competition across the street lacks.

Although I am not in the market at this time, the folks at Indian of Albuquerque are true professionals with no cliche' sales pitches or the typical "sales pressures" I have encountered in other Motorcycle dealerships.I am a rider (having ridden a long time)and my next purchase will be an Indian (Chieftain) which are very well made and beautiful machines.By the way my dad rode an Indian.Best,Manuel Pacheco

I really enjoy my visits to the dealership. I can't buy the bike of my dreams, yet, but Randy helps me keep that dream alive and kicking! Every time I visit the showroom Randy remembers me and cheerfully answers all of my questions. He keeps me informed of all upcoming events.

I bought a 2015 Indian Scout. I am really enjoying this bike. I have owned 3 Hondas and a Suzuki. My favorite bike use to be the 1978 Goldwing I had. I think this is going to replace that. If I could make 2 improvements, it would be a front fork lock and a helmet lock. I added floor boards and am getting the longer bars. Plane and simple, this bike ROCKS.
Thanks Indian.Brian Regan-Anonymous -

I have been to the dealer a few times. One of those times was during their "Demo Days" that I spent a day and a half demoing the new rides and chatting with alot of the employees. Everyone was very nice, easy to talk to and very approachable. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new motorcycle.
Keith Hitz, Albuquerque, NM -
Have been in twice and talked to Randy, who really was great. He knew the product, the dealership's ideals, gave me a brochure, and was very friendly. I have not purchased anything as I am a Harley guy, but if I were to buy a new bike, the Indian Scout would be at the top of my list. I am 71 and looking to possibly downsize from my Road King Classic. I just haven't talked myself,(or my wife!) into it yet.

Although I did not make a purchase at Indian of Albuquerque -- in the scheme of things the timing was not right -- the sales team that introduced me to Indian was friendly, cordial, and very knowledgeable about the line of cycles. I was also introduced to a number of staff people, including from the managerial side and service department, all of whom impressed me as dedicated colleagues. Good luck to all of you at Indian of Albuquerque.D. Fairfield

I bought a 2015 Scout from Andrew in May. The best buying experience I have ever experienced, and I have bought quite a few bikes over the last forty years. Only bad part is that these guys ar over 250 miles away! Then again maybe that is a good thing....otherwise I might have two Indians in my garage. Anyway, a great experience all around. I'll be back for a visit in October when we go to the ballon fest.

My Albuquerque Indian experience has been wonderful from the first day looking around at bikes to a test ride . There was never any pressure buy and once I decided to buy the sales staff Randy Hed was very helpful and knowledgeable . The paper work involved with the purchase of my new Indian went very smooth with no pressure and thanks to Leanne Early. The service department has been there for me to answer any questions I have and supply the parts I need thanks to Tom , Gumby and Adam . There is a great selection of apparel to make us look as good as our bikes thanks to Erica Wallace . Everyone at Albuquerque Indian makes me feel like I have a new extended family .

As an uncertain buyer, I probably would benefit from a more aggressive sales approach. Your salespeople were very nice, but seemed to want to be sure not to push me. (I might not be typical.)If possible, it might be good if the dealership offered instruction. I was directed to the state site and the Harley dealership up the street. All that said, I found the facility and the staff impressive. I'm likely to be back.Good luck.

I only went to see the Roadster. It,s appearance alone drew me to a test drive. The following saturday I was expecting to find a reason not to be interested in owning one. Mannnnn was I convinced this bike is amazing though the ride was short I change my opinion . This is a class a street machine . It,s balance ,performance and comfort are top quality . My mind has been altered . Let me tell you I have been riding since I was 14 years old . And a Harley has been the dream but this is a possible future bike for me. Thanks to Android and Leanne they are fine people and understood my present situation .For sure I will be back.

Geeze where do I start about my love affair with your dealership. The minute I stepped into the dealership I fell in-love with the new Indian Motorcycles. I visited with my soon to be salesperson, Andrew, and he showed me the features of the Chieftain. My wife and I bought apparel from Erica who is from Farmington, where we live. In fact, we bought a lot of apparel and even some Chieftain accessories before we actually purchased the motorcycle. That's the first time I bought accessories for a bike I didn't own yet.We financed the bike and Leanne was great at getting us the best rate.We love everything about the new Chieftain and look forward to long weekend rides. We had a small issue with the leather seat and Louis, one of the owners, took care if it without any cost to us.Since the purchase we had the 500 mile service, had some accessories installed and have nothing but praise for Thomas and Gumby back there. Now when we roll into Albuquerque our first stop is always the Indian dealership and some time to visit with our new friends; and buy more cool stuff.I've owned a lot of bikes over the years and have dealt with many dealerships, but none even comes close to matching the level of service and friendliness as does Indian Motorcycles of Albuquerque.
Stu McFadden, Farmington, NM -
I am real interested in buying a dark horse but it seems every time I'm in the store, I'm more excited about the bikes then the sales man! Indian made it hard to order the bike and made it seem like if I wanted one of your bikes I would have to jump through some hoops! Not very happy with the staff! I love your bikes and haven't made my decision on what I want yet! I currently drive a Yamaha tourer and really would like to up grade! I would love to join the Indian family! There needs to be more bikes on hand and the staff needs to have some kind of personality!

The Indian dealership is a great addition to the City of Albuquerque. We received excellent information and attention even though we were just in admiring and buying T-shirts. An Indian Motorcycle purchase from Indian of Albuquerque will definitely be made in the future.

Ideally located off Alameda just west of I25, past Thunderbird Harley (TB) on the north side. Great advice was first given on how to get the Harley motorcycle tires I wanted at a significant savings over those sold at TB. I ordered tires and their excellent mechanic Gumby put them on. Gumby also Identified and repaired a seal bearing displacement. We recommend this dealership for your Indian and Harley service. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

I've been very happy with Indian Motorcycle of Albuquerque. Everyone I've encountered there has been great and extremely helpful. I wish you success for yourselves, and for my interests too which include getting an Indian for my wife and maintenance and service of my bike. The only reason I didn't rate my purchase as 5-star was a lengthy wait at the dealer on day of purchase. That's very much nitpicking as the bike and dealership are well worth the wait.

These guys are a class act, I felt no pressure while looking about. Randy Hed one of the sales guys, is a very friendly and knowledgable guy. I am looking to add the Indian Scout to my fleet, I want a nice lightweight powerful Motorcycle to take for rides in the twisty mountain roads. I have been looking for quite some time, looked around at all different brands....I have made my decision.
I will soon own an Indian Scout. I currently own an HD Ultra Limited and A Victory Cross Country Tour. The Harley now sits for sale.
I for one am very happy to have a new choice in an American Motorcycle. This Indian Dealership is top notch. Go in and see for yourself...You'll be in good hands and happy that you took the time.Finch , Tome, NM -

Absolutely love this dealership. If I could go back and purchase my scout bobber from them, I would. Everyone who works here is friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. They never push a sale for the sake of making a sale. Always helpful and willing to answer any question I have. 10/10 best dealership and staff in the industry.
